How to choose a pack for an FPV or UAV project

1. Confirm the electrical load. Share the required nominal voltage, continuous current, peak current and flight profile. A 5C peak rating is not a continuous-current specification.
2. Check aircraft integration. Confirm the available space, allowed mass, mounting, connector and wiring before selecting a battery pack. The pack dimensions and weight are not yet published for these four models.
3. Confirm charging and protection. Match the charger and protection design to the exact pack; do not infer full-charge voltage from a single-cell listing.

Battery packs and single cells are different products

The four FPV/Drone pages above describe 6S battery packs. For cell-level voltage, size, weight and energy-density specifications, see the separate solid-state cell range. A single cell’s dimensions or discharge rating must not be presented as a finished pack’s specification.

Are these 6S battery packs or individual cells?

These four FPV/drone models are 6S battery packs. The separate solid-state range lists individual cells. Choose the pack pages when discussing aircraft integration; use the cell pages only when you need cell-level specifications for a battery design.

Which capacity and voltage should I choose?

Start with your aircraft’s required voltage and integration limits, then compare capacity. The 40Ah, 81Ah and 120Ah pack listings specify 22.2 V nominal; the 66Ah model specifies 23.7 V nominal. Do not assume that all 6S models are interchangeable. Ask Raysun to confirm the exact pack configuration against your aircraft and charger requirements.

What does the published 5C rating mean here?

The 5C value is listed as a peak-discharge rating, not a continuous-discharge rating. Peak duration, continuous-current limits and operating conditions need confirmation for the selected pack before use.

Can you confirm flight time, pack weight or dimensions?

We have not published verified finished-pack dimensions or weight for these four listings. Flight time is not specified on these pages. Please provide your airframe, payload, operating profile and power requirements so the proposed battery can be assessed for your project.
